Must be a current or former participant of The 60 Day Novel Writing Challenge.
The Novel Writing Blog will feature ONE guest writer per week. (This may be subject to change due to the volume of submissions, special events, or changes in our editorial calendar.)
Each month has a theme that submitted articles should align with in some way. See our Editorial Calendar at the bottom of this post.
SUCCESS STORIES REGARDING THE CHALLENGE AND PROFESSIONAL PREMIUM WILL BE ACCEPTED YEAR ROUND.
Theme-based articles must be submitted at least 3 months in advance of their issue month.
Completed articles only. No queries.
We may not be able to respond to every article during periods of high submission volume.
Articles will be chosen based their quality, style, and the appropriateness of subject matter.
We publish articles anywhere from 1 month to 12 months after submission.
Please include a short bio and picture of yourself, as well as any social media links, that we can include at the end of your article, if accepted for The Novel Writing Blog.
Interested? Please paste your article into the body of your email and attach the PDF file. Send your submission to submissions@shannaplowe.com, and title the subject line with your name and the editorial month your article corresponds to (e.g., “John Doe - January”).
